Saluting the Sacrifice: Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrated with Pride

 

Girl Guides,  NSS and NCC Units of D.A.V. Model School observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with deep patriotic fervour, paying homage to the courage and supreme sacrifices of the Indian soldiers during the Kargil War.

 

To commemorate the occasion, a special Assembly was organized to enhance awareness among students about the significance of the day and the valor of the Indian armed forces. In addition, students created posters reflecting their heartfelt gratitude and love for the brave soldiers who protect the nation.

 

Principal Ms. Anuja Sharma addressed the students and emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by our soldiers. She urged everyone to uphold the values of courage, service and unity — the very foundation of a strong and united India.

 

The spirit of nationalism was further brought alive through poems and speeches delivered by students, in which they paid moving tributes to the martyrs.The event concluded with a solemn pledge by all present to uphold the ideals of bravery, patriotism and national integrity.
