“Hug a Tree” campaign.

D.A.V Model School celebrated Van Mahotsav with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of environmental responsibility. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of trees and promote eco-friendly practices among students.

The celebration began with a tree plantation drive, where saplings were planted within the school campus by students and staff members. The activity served as a reminder of our duty to protect and preserve nature.

Following this, students took part in the “Hug a Tree” campaign. This symbolic act allowed them to express love and gratitude toward trees, fostering a personal connection with nature.

As part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative under the Life Mission Activities, students planted saplings. This thoughtful gesture honored the nurturing role of mothers while promoting environmental awareness.
