Inauguration of Toy Room and TLM Pitara

Toy Room for Pre-Primary classes (Nursery to UKG).was inaugurated in the premises of DAV 15 , Chandigarh by Mr R. C. Jeewan, Vice Chairperson and Mrs Sween Puri, Manager of the School. Both dignitaries interacted with the tiny tots and appreciated the thoughtfully designed learning spaces.

 

The School Principal, Mrs Anuja Sharma highlighted that the toy room was thoughtfully designed to support the holistic development of young learners, with dedicated spaces for play, cognitive development, emotional expression through the Emotimeter, physical development and joyful learning.

The dignitaries also visited the “Pitara” of the School, the TLM Room, wherein innovative teaching-learning materials developed by teachers for Nursery to Class 2 were exhibited , including all the subjects and learning domains while keeping the local context in mind.

 

The dignitaries appreciated the creativity and dedicated efforts of the teachers and motivated them to continue developing innovative, contextual and child-centric learning resources.
