A nostalgic Alumni Meet 2026 was organised in the portals of DAV Model School,Sector 15 , Chandigarh under the aegis of DAV United and the guidance of Padma Shri Dr Punam Suri, President,DAVCMC , New Delhi and Dr Nisha Peshin, Director PS:11 ,DAVCMC,New Delhi on Saturday, 25th April 2026 .
It was an evening of nostalgia, reconnecting bonds with old friends, and celebrating cherished memories. The Principal, Mrs Anuja Sharma expressed her heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the esteemed Alumni members who graced the event from far and wide corners . Infact it was a vibrant gathering of intellectual minds, reuniting graduates from the 1970s to recent batches.
The organising team comprised of Mr Rajeev Sharma ,Ms Bharti Dhawan , Mr jitander Bange and Mr Aditya Arora who worked tirelessly to make the meet a memorable one.The event aimed to foster a strong connection between the alumni and their alma mater, featuring a nostalgic campus tour, networking sessions, and a special tribute to retired faculty members .The former Principal, Mrs Kamlesh Thareja also came and blessed the Alumni members.All former students were invited to register for the meet.
The meet spotlighted achievements of alumni in various fields such as engineering, medicine, and entrepreneurship.
It was a cultural event marked by Ladakhi dance by Hostel students of the school , medley of songs by Alumni members , dances and distribution of mementos to distinguished members.The event was a memorable eve marked by nostalgia and enthusiasm for all present
