DAV Model School 15-A Chandigarh organized a mentorship programme by school alumni for the students of Class XII on 10 May , 2015. 

Batch 1995 pass out - Ms. Shelly Taneja, a News Reader and Anchor of Doordarshan Chandigarh had an interactive session about skills and training required for a Career as a News Reader in Television. 

Her rich experience of compering musical shows, voice over stories and being judge for various shows held by Chandigarh Dailies and working as convener of NGO Beti Foundation gave the students an insight into multi-dimensional talented alumni of the school who has made us proud.  

The students joined enthusiastically and posed a lot of questions. They felt motivated and learned a lot of tips on how to excel, improve their confidence level, and work towards gaining success in different fields of specialization.
